She Does Healthy Things With Her Boyfriend

Madix and her long-time boyfriend, fellow Vanderpump Rules star Tom Sandoval, said in an interview with New You Media that they like to do healthy things together. Madix says that going on diets with Sandoval is a lot easier than going on it alone. "It's easier to do it together because we grocery shop together," she says. "If one person was doing it and the other wasn't, it would be kind of tough."

She Cut Out Refined Sugars

In the same interview, Madix and Sandoval described the diet they were currently going on together. They cut out several unhealthy things, including refined sugars. "No refined sugars," Madix said. "Fruit is okay, like berries are okay, a banana is okay, but no refined sugar."

Madix and Sandoval also said that they limited the carbs they ate on their diet. They thought about cutting out carbs completely, but decided it would be too difficult, and just decided to stick with healthy carbs. "I mean it's hard to stick to," Madix says.

She Loves Pomegranate Juice

Madix is a bartender and a cocktail book author, so she naturally likes to make fun and creative drinks. Over the holidays, she said likes to make cocktails with pomegranate juice. According to WebMD, pomegranates have a lot of benefits, as does pomegranate juice. "While pomegranates lose much of their vitamin C content when juiced, they retain nearly all of their potassium, about 536 mg or 15 percent of your DRI. Potassium is an important mineral that helps your nerves and heart stay strong. Enjoying fresh pomegranates or their juice gives you plenty of this key mineral."

She Skis

While Madix lives in sunny Southern California, she does enjoy spending time in the snow and the cold weather. She is also a big fan of skiing. Madix posted this photo on Instagram of herself on the slopes in Mammoth Lakes. She wrote in the caption, "This was my first time skiing, and I'm hooked!"
