Make Smart Food Choices

Nicole believes in eating healthy—most of the time. "Don't deprive yourself of anything because eventually you'll crave it and then you might binge on it. Everything in moderation," she said to Women's Health UK. "For breakfast I love eggs and toast and smoked salmon or bacon, or porridge. For lunch I like maybe some soup or some sushi. For dinner, anything from pasta to rice, and meats and veggies, to sushi. When I'm going to indulge, I love pasta, pizza, I love Mexican with lots of cheese. I love French fries, or crisps – salt and vinegar crisps. In terms of snacks: almonds, coconut water, bits of coconut, baby carrots."

Try Different Workouts

Nicole is all about mixing up her workouts, revealing to Women's Health UK that she has a few go-tos. "In a typical workout I would run on the treadmill, maybe 20 mins, then try to do some squats, some sit-ups on the exercise ball, some yoga stretches. When I'm home I like to take a spinning class called Soul Cycle or I like to do hot yoga – a modified version of bikram yoga – or hiking, and core power yoga in LA." And of course, she dances! "I mean, I heard that dancing and laughing gives you better abs than crunches anyway," she captioned a recent post.

Find a Workout Buddy

Need a little nudge to exercise? Enlist a workout buddy. "Me and my girlfriends support each other for the gym. Because, you know, it's hard to be motivated sometimes, so when you go you push each other, – we try to do different things," she told Women's Health UK. "We'll go hiking one day and then we'll try a sculpting hot yoga class, then we'll do a cardio. We just motivate each other."

Make Fitness Your Hobby

Use Exercise to Destress

Nicole uses exercise to promote her mental health. "I travel so much it's so important for me to sweat it out. It's not only for physical being, but mostly for my mental well-being. It keeps me centered, focused, strong and helps me get in the right frame of mind for my work ahead. Preparation is key. Prepare yourself so when the opportunity comes, you are ready!" she wrote on Instagram.
