She prioritizes her ab workouts, even if she can only fit in a quick one. Olivia knows it’s important to keep your core locked in and tight through intense ab workouts. “Caution: quick, easy, may get abs🚨💪,” she said on an Instagram post about working in quick, but efficient core moves to keep things toned.

With gymnastics being such a massive part of her life, she still incorporates it in her workout routine. Keeping her body strong and flexible is something Olivia definitely keeps at the top of her workout agenda. “Hey seniors can play with new skills too,” she said on a video of her tumbling.

She surfs

Working in both vitamin D and outdoor activity, the combination of it all is great for her mental and physical health. Surfing is an incredible workout, and finding a way to spend time outside and keep her body active is important to Olivia. “As you can see the waves were huge. Massive. Clearly a great day for surfing,” she said on a post with her board.

She horseback rides

Instead of just vegging on the beach, she finds ways to stay active while having fun in the sun. From simply swimming to horseback riding, staying active and moving her body is something Olivia focuses on. “The horse’s name was Friday,” she said on a fun social media post of her horseback riding.

When it comes to her workout routine, Olivia focuses on weight training and aims to promote that lifting weights and strength training is incredibly helpful when it comes to reaching your fitness goals. When Livvy spoke to Women’s Health, she said, “I feel like there’s kind of a bad stigma towards lifting weights, but it really transformed my body, my gymnastics, and my life…I got started with strength training because it helps so much, not only in my gymnastics career, but my everyday life as well. It empowers me and makes me feel strong and confident. I try to work out probably 3 days a week. I always start my workouts walking on the treadmill, getting warmed up. Then I try to hit abs because I feel like when you hit abs, that just transforms your body.”
