1. She Speaks Out
Cameron is an activist. After winning the 2022 Best New Artist Award at the AMAs, Cameron used her speech to support queer charities and organizations, in wake of the shooting at Colorado’s Club Q. “I want to start by saying that every award that I ever win will always first and foremost be dedicated to the queer community at large," she began. "You guys have carved out such a space for me to be myself and to write music about it and I've never felt safer or more loved or more supported and I hope I can give you some semblance of that same feeling in my music," she said, later adding, “I want to remind everyone how important queer visibility is and how important our community is. And I want to direct your attention to organizations like GLAAD and the Trevor Project for what you can do right now.”
2. She’s In-Tune With Herself

In an interview with Glamour, Cameron opened up about how she approaches life in the public eye. She says that criticism doesn’t really bother her, and when she is upset by things, it’s because she needs to re-center herself.“When I start to be bothered by criticism or hate, it’s usually because I feel like I don’t know where my center is anymore, and it’s a great indicator that I need to take a day and tap back into my connection with myself and re-up my discipline around my personal boundaries.”
3. She Makes Time To Unwind

Cameron is all about self-care. She described her typical process to Glamour. “I usually turn off all my lights at night, light all the candles and open up all the doors and windows and listen to the city sounds while I lie naked on my wooden floors. Stretching, writing, meditating, anything that clears the energetic cobwebs. It doesn’t take much, but it’s absolutely crucial. I usually come out of these six-hour breaks having written 10 poems and solving three big issues and having released some physical ailment.”
4. She Knows About Her Skin

Cameron has amazing skin. She revealed some of her secrets and favorite products to Glamour. She says that one of her secrets is knowing about her skin, and what she needs to do at the moment. “Skin is a sort of language that I've always spoken,” Cameron says. “If you're in touch with your skin, you can listen to what it does and doesn't like.”
5. She Uses Vitamin E
Cameron talked about her favorite products to Glamour. She says that she likes to use Vitamin E to help with moisturizing her skin. Cameron says that she uses it once or twice a day, depending on what she needs at the time. “I also love regular old vitamin E oil. That's more of a nighttime thing. But sometimes I'll use it during the day if I'm really dry.”
